The Glide House developed by
Michelle Kaufman was published in Sunset Magazine a few years ago
and has lead to the development of several prefabricated homes by
Michelle. Not only does the house have a great sense of style, but
it is built off site, trucked to the property and installed in a matter
of days.
This client's lot is long and skinny with a
view of the mountains to the North and the long, linear buildings are a
natural fit. After we prepare the site, install the foundations and
utilities, the Glide House will be trucked to Ojai for installation by
crane. After the house is installed we have some minor work
attaching the utilities, installing the roof and getting the house ready
for move in !
